“Ua D’Oro” Dorona Veneto IGT 2022 MAGNUM

Dorona Veneto IGT Rosato 2022 is produced by Società Agricola Biniola on Isola delle Vignole in the Venice lagoon, from 100% Dorona di Venezia, an ancient variety long associated with the Venetian islands and nearly lost in the 1966 flood that submerged the lagoon vineyards. The vines grow in approximately 1.6 hectares of sandy, saline-influenced soils, conditions that give the wine a distinctive mineral and lightly sapid character. The Magnum format is a 1.5-litre bottle, identical in vinification to the standard bottle. As a rosato, the wine is made with limited skin contact to draw pale colour and delicate aromatic expression from the golden-skinned Dorona grape. The wine is dry, with light body and the bright acidity typical of lagoon-grown fruit.
