“Feston” Malvasia Trevenezie IGT 2025
Wine Description
Ca’ Saccagnana is a small Venetian lagoon producer working with native and local grape varieties grown in the sandy, saline soils around Venice. Malvasia is well established in the Trevenezie IGT zone, which covers the three Venetian regions of Veneto, Friuli Venezia Giulia, and Trentino Alto Adige. The Trevenezie IGT designation allows for flexible, single-variety bottlings that express the aromatic character of the Malvasia grape without the constraints of a narrower DOC. Malvasia in this area typically produces a dry white wine with floral and stone fruit aromas, lively acidity, and a saline mineral quality influenced by proximity to the Adriatic. The specific cuvee name Feston and the vintage labelled 2025 suggest this is a young, early-drinking wine intended to be consumed fresh. No specific winemaking data for this cuvee was available at the time of writing.
