Wine Description

BiancaVigna was founded in 2004 by siblings Enrico and Elena Moschetta, who produce sparkling wines from family-owned vineyards in the Conegliano-Valdobbiadene area, a UNESCO World Cultural Landscape site. The Prosecco DOC Brut is grown on clay-limestone hillside vineyards between Conegliano and Farra di Soligo, at altitudes of 50 to 150 metres, on approximately 6.2 hectares spread across Pieve di Soligo and Sernaglia. The wine is made from 100% hand-harvested Glera grapes and undergoes a second fermentation in tank (Charmat method) for a minimum of two months with selected yeasts. Residual sugar is kept at 9 g/l, placing it firmly in the Brut category. The wine is non-vintage, displaying a straw yellow colour with greenish hues and a fine, persistent mousse. It is balanced and clean, suitable as an aperitif or alongside light food.

    How do I get this wine?

    Press "REQUEST THIS WINE" and tell us how many bottles you would like and where they should go. We reply by email with the current price, the vintage we hold and the shipping cost to your country.

    Do you ship to my country?

    Yes. Every bottle leaves from Venice, to Italy, the rest of Europe, the United Kingdom, the United States and most other countries. We quote the shipping cost with the price.

    Who pays the customs duties?

    For the United States we pay the duties, not you. Inside the European Union there are none. Elsewhere the local authority decides and the buyer pays.

    How are the bottles packed?

    In certified isothermal, temperature controlled packaging. A damaged bottle is reported within 14 days of delivery, with photographs of box and bottle.

    Can I collect it in Venice?

    Yes, at our wine shop in San Polo, a few minutes from the Rialto Bridge. The price on this page is the take away and shipping price; at the wine bar tables bottles are served from the bar list.
