“Madre” Veneto IGT 2022

Madre is a still white wine produced by Italo Cescon in the Veneto region of northeastern Italy, classified under the Veneto IGT designation. The wine is made from Glera, the grape variety most associated with the Treviso area, here vinified as a dry still wine rather than a sparkling one. Fermentation takes place at controlled temperatures to preserve the grape’s natural aromatics and freshness. The wine is intended for early drinking and displays the light, easy character of the Glera variety in a still format. Italo Cescon is a family-run estate based in Roncadelle di Ormelle in the Treviso province, with a long history of working with local Veneto varieties.
