About Zeero

History
Zeero is a line of dealcoholised wines from Casa Emma, a Tuscan estate at San Donato in Poggio, in the Barberino Tavarnelle area south of Florence, in Chianti Classico country. Retailers list the producer as Casa Emma Società Agricola. The Casa Emma site does not mention Zeero itself, so the details below about the line come from sellers and tasting notes, not from the estate.
The land and the vineyards
Casa Emma makes its main wines in the Chianti Classico hills, and its range includes Chianti Classico, a Riserva, a Gran Selezione and a Tuscan red called Harenae. The estate site names Marco Salvadori as winemaker and credits Fiorella Lepri with guiding the house through its decades.
The wines
Zeero comes as a red and a white. The red is made from Sangiovese. The white is described as a blend of Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Vernaccia. The alcohol is taken out with a membrane process, leaving under 0.5 percent. Sellers describe the red as dry and free of sugar, at about 10.5 calories per 100 millilitres, and Falstaff gave the Sangiovese 88 points in 2025.
Today
Zeero is for people who want the taste of Tuscan wine without the alcohol.
