“Vallepicciola” Bianco 2021

Vallepicciola Toscana Bianco IGT 2021 is a 100% Chardonnay produced at the Vallepicciola estate in the Castelnuovo Berardenga area of Chianti Classico, Siena. The estate spans 265 hectares, of which around 107 are under vine, planted with both traditional Tuscan and international varieties. This wine is part of the producer’s Grand Cru line, which aims to express the connection between the territory, the grape variety, and the people behind the wine. A measured use of new oak contributes spice notes and a creamy texture while preserving the fruit character of the Chardonnay. The wine shows good aromatic complexity with tropical and stone fruit on the nose, and a palate supported by fresh acidity and a light mineral finish. Production is limited, with around 600 cases made and 150 cases imported.
