Prosecco Conegliano Valdobbiadene DOCG “Rive di Soligo” S.A.
Wine Description
This wine is produced by BiancaVigna, a family estate founded in 2004 by siblings Enrico and Elena in the Marca Trevigiana. The grapes come from a single vineyard in the San Gallo locality of Soligo, at approximately 380 metres above sea level, on slopes that can reach 70% gradient. The wine is made predominantly from Glera, as required by the DOCG specification, which allows a maximum 15% of indigenous varieties such as Perera, Bianchetta, and Verdiso. Sparkling is achieved via the Charmat method in pressurised stainless-steel autoclaves for up to 150 days, well beyond the 30-day minimum required by the appellation, contributing to a finer and more persistent bead. The Rive designation identifies single-commune or single-hamlet wines harvested by hand in the same year, making this a vintage-specific, geographically precise expression within the broader appellation. The S.A. indication on the label denotes it is produced without a declared vintage year on this particular release.
