About Enio Ottaviani

History
Enio Ottaviani is a family company based in San Clemente, in the province of Rimini. A wine retailer's profile describes it as founded by a grandfather named Enio and carried on by the generations after him. The family describes itself as people of the sea and the land, with one foot in the vineyard and one in the Adriatic.
The land and the vineyards
The vineyards are on the hills of San Clemente di Rimini, inside the Val Conca nature oasis and a few kilometres from the sea. Third party profiles put the planted area at about 12 hectares. The winery also keeps a wildlife oasis page on its site and offers visits to the vineyards and cellar.
The wines
The range covers sparkling, white and red wines. Sinfonia is a sparkling Chardonnay, Strati is a Pagadebit from Bombino Bianco, Clemente Primo is a Riesling and Sauvignon blend, and Rebola is a white from the Colli di Rimini. Among the reds are Dado, a Romagna Sangiovese, Sole Rosso, a Sangiovese Superiore Riserva, Caciara, a Sangiovese Superiore, 928, a blend of Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon, and a Merlot. The family also makes extra virgin olive oil.
Today
The family says it makes wine for friends, and that wine belongs at the table among people enjoying themselves. It exports to 31 countries.
