Grappa “Tignanello”
Wine Description
Grappa Tignanello is a pomace brandy produced from the grape skins, seeds, and stems left over after the fermentation of Tignanello wine, made by Antinori at the Tignanello estate in Tuscany. It is distilled from the pomace of the Tignanello blend, which typically consists of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc. As a grappa rather than a wine, it carries no vintage designation and is categorized as a spirit with an alcohol content typically around 42-43% ABV.
