The brand
P31 is not a winery. It is an Italian green aperitivo, made from a recipe of 31 natural ingredients, among them over twenty medicinal herbs. The recipe is kept secret. According to retailer and importer pages, it was developed at Caffe Pedrocchi in Padua, in the Veneto, and reached the market in 2017. Padua is also where Caffe Pedrocchi stands, a historic cafe in the city centre, and the link with that place is part of how the drink is presented to buyers.
The spirits
The range centres on Aperitivo Green, a lighter aperitivo with a lower alcohol level. Alongside it sits a Green Bitter meant for cocktails, and a line of ready to drink premixed serves. Retail and importer pages place it in the family of green herbal aperitivi, and it is mostly used in spritz style long drinks. The brand has an importer in the United States, where the one litre bottle is listed by a state liquor board supplier.
