Le vin a \u00e9t\u00e9 produit pour la premi\u00e8re fois en 1985 et est \u00e9labor\u00e9 \u00e0 partir d'un assemblage de Viognier et de Sauvignon Blanc, avec une production annuelle limit\u00e9e \u00e0 environ 4 000 \u00e0 6 000 bouteilles. Les vignes sont situ\u00e9es \u00e0 des altitudes comprises entre 100 et 300 m\u00e8tres environ, sur des sols caract\u00e9ris\u00e9s par des pierres et des fossiles marins, avec des expositions sud et sud-ouest qui b\u00e9n\u00e9ficient de brises c\u00f4ti\u00e8res constantes. Les raisins sont vendang\u00e9s \u00e0 la main avec une s\u00e9lection rigoureuse des grappes ; le vin est ferment\u00e9 et \u00e9lev\u00e9 en cuve inox sans fermentation malolactique, et repose sur lies fines pendant plusieurs mois pour apporter de la texture. Le nom Con Vento fait r\u00e9f\u00e9rence \u00e0 l'exposition permanente de la colline au vent, qui mod\u00e8re les temp\u00e9ratures et contribue au caract\u00e8re frais et min\u00e9ral du vin.\n\nCastello del Terriccio est un grand domaine situ\u00e9 pr\u00e8s de Castellina Marittima, dans la Maremme c\u00f4ti\u00e8re de Toscane, en Italie. La propri\u00e9t\u00e9 s'\u00e9tend sur des milliers d'hectares et est surtout connue pour produire le Lupicaia, un assemblage de style supertoscan \u00e0 base de Cabernet Sauvignon qui a acquis une notori\u00e9t\u00e9 critique importante dans les ann\u00e9es 1990.
