Der Wein besteht zu 70 % aus Garganega und zu 30 % aus Trebbiano di Soave, einer lokalen Sorte, die mit dem Verdicchio verwandt ist und dem Wein S\u00e4ure sowie aromatische Frische verleiht. Die Garganega wird nach der Tralcio-cimato-Methode erzogen, einem partiellen Triebschnittverfahren, das die Frucht vor der Lese konzentriert, w\u00e4hrend der Wein in gro\u00dfen Eichenholzf\u00e4ssern vergoren und ausgebaut wird. Das vulkanische Terroir pr\u00e4gt das charakteristische mineralische R\u00fcckgrat des Weines, und die Struktur aus der Fruchtkonzentration zusammen mit der nat\u00fcrlichen S\u00e4ure des Trebbiano di Soave tr\u00e4gt eine l\u00e4ngere Flaschenreife. Der 2014er Jahrgang in Soave hatte eine k\u00fchle, lang gestreckte Vegetationsperiode, die nat\u00fcrliche Frische und S\u00e4ure bewahrte. Monte Grande wurde mehrfach mit dem Gambero Rosso Tre Bicchieri ausgezeichnet, was seine gleichbleibende Qualit\u00e4t als einer der f\u00fchrenden Einzellagenweine der Appellation
