Die Cuv\u00e9e besteht aus Grenache 40 %, Syrah 30 %, Carignano 20 % und Tempranillo 10 %, die als Buschreberziehung (Alberello) mit hoher Pflanzdichte und sehr geringen Ertr\u00e4gen kultiviert werden, um Frucht und Aromatik zu konzentrieren. Die Trauben jeder Sorte werden von Hand in 15-kg-Kisten geerntet, entrappt und separat im Edelstahltank \u00fcber etwa 15 Tage mit autochthonen Hefen ohne synthetische Zus\u00e4tze vergoren. Nach der Vinifikation reift der Wein 20 Monate in neuen franz\u00f6sischen Eichenholzbarriques, gefolgt von weiteren 6 Monaten Flaschenruhe vor der Freigabe. Der Jahrgang 2023 zeigt eine tiefe, konzentrierte Rubinrotrobe und tr\u00e4gt das typische Gewicht und die Struktur, f\u00fcr die dieser Wein seit weit \u00fcber einem Jahrzehnt bekannt ist.\n\nSan Giovenale ist ein kleines Gut im n\u00f6rdlichen Latium, in der Gegend der Tuscia nahe Blera, das von Henrik Ottosson gegr\u00fcndet wurde. Das Weingut ist f\u00fcr seine Cuv\u00e9es aus Bordeaux-Sorten bekannt, insbesondere f\u00fcr Weine auf Basis von Cabernet Franc, die auf Vulkanb\u00f6den wachsen. Es hat sich einen Namen damit gemacht, einen ernsthaften, terroir-orientierten Ansatz in die Rotweinproduktion einer Region zu bringen, die mit solchen Rebsorten traditionell nicht in Verbindung
