Die Trauben werden geerntet und anschlie\u00dfend rund 90 Tage nach der traditionellen Appassimento-Methode getrocknet, bevor sie gepresst werden. Dieser Vorgang konzentriert Zucker, Phenole und Aromastoffe erheblich. Die G\u00e4rung verl\u00e4uft lang und langsam, und der Wein reift mindestens vier Jahre in gro\u00dfen F\u00e4ssern aus slawonischer Eiche, bevor er abgef\u00fcllt wird. Der Jahrgang 2015 im Veneto war durch warme, trockene Bedingungen gepr\u00e4gt, die Trauben mit ausgezeichneter Reife und Konzentration hervorbrachten. Das Ergebnis ist ein strukturierter, kraftvoller Wein mit erheblichem Reifepotenzial, der die Tiefe und Komplexit\u00e4t dieser Einzellage deutlich zeigt.\n\nMasi leitet seinen Namen vom Vaio dei Masi ab, dem kleinen Tal in der Valpolicella Classica, das die Familie Boscaini Ende des achtzehnten Jahrhunderts erwarb. Das Weingut wird noch heute nach sieben Generationen in Familienhand gef\u00fchrt. Das Haus baute seinen Ruf auf dem Appassimento auf, dem winterlichen Trocknen der Trauben f\u00fcr Amarone und Recioto, das die hauseigene Fachgruppe \u00fcber Jahrzehnte erforscht und verfeinert hat, sowie auf der R\u00fcckgewinnung alter veronesesischer Sorten wie Oseleta. Neben dem weit exportierten Costasera f\u00fcllt Masi zwei historische Cru-Amarones ab, Campolongo di Torbe und Mazzano, und bewirtschaftet die Weinberge des Guts Serego Alighieri, dem Sitz der
