Beim Jahrgang 2022 wurden 10 Prozent der Trauben als Ganztraube vergoren, eine Methode, die 2021 versuchsweise eingef\u00fchrt wurde, um die Frische zu st\u00e4rken, besonders in w\u00e4rmeren Jahrg\u00e4ngen. Fachbewertungen sehen das Trinkreifefenster einheitlich von 2026 bis Mitte der 2040er Jahre.\n\nGaja ist ein familiengef\u00fchrtes Weingut in Barbaresco im nordwestitalienischen Piemont. Das Gut wurde 1859 von Giovanni Gaja gegr\u00fcndet und ist weithin f\u00fcr seine Barbaresco- und Baroloweine aus der Rebsorte Nebbiolo bekannt.
