Das Ergebnis ist ein trockener, stiller Rotwein mit rubinroter Farbe und leichten Granatreflexen, einer Gesamts\u00e4ure von rund 7,00 g\/l und einem pH-Wert von etwa 3,40. Der lange Holzausbau mildert den von Natur aus hohen Tannin- und S\u00e4uregehalt der Sorte, ohne ihre pr\u00e4gende Struktur aufzul\u00f6sen.
