Der Wein reift in einer Kombination aus gro\u00dfen F\u00e4ssern aus slawonischer Eiche und kleineren Barriques, was die von Natur aus hohen Tannine der Traube mildert und gleichzeitig den strukturellen Charakter der Sorte bewahrt. Nebbiolo aus dem Barolo ist f\u00fcr seine hohe S\u00e4ure und sein festes Tanninger\u00fcst bekannt, weshalb der Wein mehrere Jahre Flaschenreife ben\u00f6tigt, bevor er sich vollst\u00e4ndig \u00f6ffnet. Der Jahrgang 2022 im Piemont war von einer warmen und trockenen Vegetationsperiode gepr\u00e4gt, die die Fruchtaromen konzentrierte, aber auch ein sorgf\u00e4ltiges Laubmanagement erforderte, um die Frische zu erhalten. Dagromis ist in jungen Jahren in der Regel zug\u00e4nglicher als die Einzellagen-Barolos von Gaja und damit ein unkomplizierterer Ausdruck der Appellation.\n\nGaja ist ein familiengef\u00fchrtes Weingut mit Sitz in Barbaresco im Piemont im Nordwesten Italiens. Das Gut wurde 1859 von Giovanni Gaja gegr\u00fcndet und ist weithin f\u00fcr seine Barbaresco- und Barolo-Weine aus der Nebbiolo-Traube bekannt. Unter Angelo Gaja erlangte das Weingut internationale Bedeutung und gilt als Vorreiter bei der Einf\u00fchrung von Einzellagenbezeichnungen sowie internationaler Sorten wie Cabernet Sauvignon und
