Der Weinberg liegt auf galestroreichen B\u00f6den mit S\u00fcd- bis S\u00fcdwestausrichtung, ist von Wald umgeben und die Reben sind im Schnitt 70 Jahre alt. Die Verg\u00e4rung erfolgt spontan mit indigenen Hefen in gro\u00dfen Eichenf\u00e4ssern von 30 Hektoliter ohne Temperaturkontrolle, gefolgt von einer Maischestandzeit von etwa zehn Tagen. Anschlie\u00dfend reift der Wein 18 Monate in alten gro\u00dfen Eichenbotti, mit minimalem Einsatz von Neuholz, sodass der Terroircharakter im Vordergrund bleibt.
