Der Wein ist nach Angelo Gajas \u00e4ltester Tochter Gaia und seiner Gro\u00dfmutter Clotilde Rey benannt. Er vereint Trauben aus zwei verschiedenen Weinbergen: einem 1979 in Treiso gepflanzten (Giacosa) und einem 1989 in Serralunga d'Alba gepflanzten (Rivette), wobei Letzterer S\u00e4ure und Struktur beisteuert, w\u00e4hrend Ersterer Duft und Balance einbringt. Der Wein wird im Edelstahl vergoren und rund 18 Monate in einer Kombination aus Edelstahl und Eichenbarriques ausgebaut. Der Jahrgang 2023 zeigt einen reichen, goldenen Charakter mit ger\u00f6steter Haselnuss und reifen Zitrusfr\u00fcchten neben Noten von Aprikose, Mango, wei\u00dfen Bl\u00fcten und Honig sowie einem kalksteinmineralischen Ausdruck. Er geh\u00f6rte zu den ersten italienischen Wei\u00dfweinen, die in Barriques ausgebaut wurden, und hat dazu beigetragen, zu zeigen, dass in einer Region, die traditionell von Rotweinen gepr\u00e4gt
