Der Weinberg ist s\u00fcdexponiert und liegt auf Ton, Kalkmergelstein und sandigen B\u00f6den, was zur aromatischen Finesse und strukturellen Balance des Weines beitr\u00e4gt. Der Name Conteisa verweist auf einen \u00fcber ein Jahrhundert andauernden Streit zwischen den Gemeinden La Morra und Barolo um den Besitz des Cerequio-Gebiets, der durch einen im Jahr 1275 unterzeichneten Vertrag beigelegt wurde. Der Jahrgang 2021 in Piemont brachte Weine mit reichem Fruchtcharakter und besonders geschmeidigen Tanninen, mit vollst\u00e4ndiger Reife im gesamten Langhe-Gebiet. Nach der Verg\u00e4rung reift der Wein, entsprechend Gajas Ansatz f\u00fcr Barolo, ausgiebig in Eichenholz, bevor er abgef\u00fcllt wird. Es ist ein strukturierter Wein, der von weiterer Kellerung profitiert, zeigt aber bereits das typische Nebbiolo-Profil mit floralen Aromen, Kirschfrucht und feink\u00f6rnigen
