Der Wein reift in Eichenf\u00e4ssern, davon ein Teil neu, vor der Abf\u00fcllung. Mit 15 Jahren Flaschenreife zeigt der 2009er reife Waldfrucht, erdige Komplexit\u00e4t und eingebundene Tannine, die f\u00fcr einen gut gelagerten Toscana IGT dieses Stils typisch sind.\n\nCastello di Ama ist ein historisches Weingut in der Chianti Classico Zone der Toskana, in der Gemeinde Gaiole in Chianti. Das Gut produziert Wein seit den 1970er Jahren und ist f\u00fcr seine lagenreinen Chianti Classico Weine bekannt, insbesondere aus Crus wie Bellavista und La Casuccia.
