Der Wein entsteht aus Corvina, Corvinone und Rondinella, die auf hoch gelegenen, gut exponierten Hanglagen mit tonig-kalkigen Steinb\u00f6den wachsen und nach dem traditionellen Doppelpergola-Veronese-System erzogen werden. Die Trauben werden von Hand gelesen und bei kontrollierter Temperatur vinifiziert, um die sortentypischen Aromen dieser einheimischen Rebsorten zu erhalten. Nach mehreren Verarbeitungsstufen reift der Wein in kleinen bis mittelgro\u00dfen Eichenholzf\u00e4ssern und wird anschlie\u00dfend mindestens drei Monate in der Flasche verfeinert. Der Jahrgang 2021 in der Valpolicella war von einer warmen, trockenen Vegetationsperiode gepr\u00e4gt, die gut ausgereifte Trauben mit klarer aromatischer Auspr\u00e4gung hervorbrachte. Das Ergebnis ist ein leuchtendes Rubinrot mit Violettreflexen, das blumige Noten und rote Fr\u00fcchte mit einer weichen, zug\u00e4nglichen Struktur verbindet.\n\nDie Familie Benedetti baut seit dem 19. Jahrhundert Reben bei La Villa in Negrar an, und heute f\u00fchren die Br\u00fcder Simone und Matteo den Betrieb, die das Handwerk von ihrem Vater Adriano und dem Gro\u00dfvater vor ihm gelernt haben.
