Der Wein reift 20 Monate in neuen franz\u00f6sischen Eichbarriques und ruht anschlie\u00dfend weitere sechs Monate in der Flasche vor der Freigabe. Das Ergebnis ist ein Wein mit tiefer, undurchdringlicher Rubinfarbe, kraftvoller Struktur und bemerkenswerter aromatischer Komplexit\u00e4t, die von den warmen Ton- und Steinb\u00f6den sowie den trockenen tyrrhenischen Winden gepr\u00e4gt wird. Mit 15 % Alkohol ist es ein Wein von erheblichem Gewicht und Konzentration, der am besten nach gro\u00dfz\u00fcgigem Dekantieren serviert wird.\n\nSan Giovenale ist ein kleines Weingut im Tuscia-Gebiet im Norden Latiums in der N\u00e4he von Blera, das von Henrik Ottosson gegr\u00fcndet wurde. Das Weingut ist bekannt f\u00fcr die Produktion von Cuv\u00e9es aus Bordeaux-Sorten, insbesondere Cabernet-Franc-basierten Weinen, die auf vulkanischen B\u00f6den angebaut werden.
