Die Trauben werden geerntet und dann nach der traditionellen Appassimento-Methode mehrere Monate auf Bambusgestellen getrocknet, bevor sie vergoren werden. Die G\u00e4rung findet in Betontanks mit verl\u00e4ngerter Mazerationszeit statt, und der Wein reift vor der Abf\u00fcllung mehrere Jahre in gro\u00dfen F\u00e4ssern aus slawonischer Eiche. Der Jahrgang 2015 profitierte von einer warmen, trockenen Vegetationsperiode, die Fr\u00fcchte mit ausgezeichneter Konzentration und einer guten Zuckeranreicherung w\u00e4hrend der Trocknung hervorbrachte. Der fertige Wein ist dicht und strukturiert, mit der Tiefe eines langgereiften Amarone, und bewahrt dank der H\u00f6henlage und der kalktonigen B\u00f6den des Mezzane-Tals eine gute Frische.\n\nCorte Sant'Alda liegt im Val di Mezzane, dem ruhigeren \u00f6stlichen Seitental der Valpolicella, wo Marinella Camerani seit Mitte der 1980er Jahre Weinbau betreibt. Die Weinberge liegen zwischen 200 und 350 Metern auf kalkreichen B\u00f6den in Parzellen namens Campi Magri, Pr\u00e0 Alto, Retratto und Monte Tombole, die biodynamisch bewirtschaftet und mit leichter Hand in den Keller gebracht werden: Handlese, spontane G\u00e4rung mit nat\u00fcrlichen Hefen und Ausbau in Eichenf\u00e4ssern unterschiedlicher Gr\u00f6\u00dfe und Alter.
