Dieser Jahrgang ist der erste, der vollst\u00e4ndig in Massetos eigenem, eigens daf\u00fcr errichtetem Weinkeller vinifiziert wurde, und der erste, dem neben dem traditionellen Merlot des Guts 10 % Cabernet Franc beigef\u00fcgt wurde. Die Trauben wurden von Hand in 15-kg-Kisten geerntet und vor sowie nach dem Entrappen auf einem doppelten Sortiertisch selektiert; die Verg\u00e4rung erfolgte \u00fcberwiegend in Betonbeh\u00e4ltern bei Mazerationszeiten von 21 bis 28 Tagen. Die malolaktische G\u00e4rung fand in neuen Barriques aus franz\u00f6sischer Eiche statt, wobei die einzelnen Partien in den ersten zw\u00f6lf Monaten der Reifung getrennt gehalten wurden. Die Wachstumssaison 2019 war durch einen k\u00fchlen, regenreichen Fr\u00fchling gepr\u00e4gt, der die Bl\u00fcte verz\u00f6gerte, gefolgt von einem hei\u00dfen, trockenen Sommer mit 45 aufeinanderfolgenden Tagen ohne Regen, was zu Trauben mit starker Konzentration und struktureller Integrit\u00e4t f\u00fchrte. Das Ergebnis ist ein Wein von betr\u00e4chtlicher Dichte und L\u00e4nge, der die f\u00fcr diese Lage typische Kraft mit einer bemerkenswerten Frische verbindet, die vom nat\u00fcrlich k\u00fchlenden Einfluss der Tyrrhenischen K\u00fcste herr\u00fchrt.\n\nTenuta dell'Ornellaia ist ein Gutsweingut in Bolgheri an der toskanischen K\u00fcste Italiens. Es wurde 1981 von Lodovico Antinori gegr\u00fcndet und geh\u00f6rt heute der Familie Frescobaldi. Das Weingut ist vor allem f\u00fcr seinen Bordeaux-inspirierten Rotwein Ornellaia bekannt und gilt als einer der f\u00fchrenden Produzenten der sogenannten Super
