Der Frappato wird aus 100 % Frappato-di-Vittoria-Trauben erzeugt, die auf roten, sandigen B\u00f6den plioz\u00e4nen Ursprungs auf rund 230 Metern H\u00f6he wachsen und biologisch sowie biodynamisch bewirtschaftet werden. Die Reben werden nach dem Guyot-System erzogen und von Ende September bis Anfang Oktober von Hand gelesen. Die G\u00e4rung erfolgt spontan auf den Schalen mit Wildhefen, gefolgt von Reifung in Betonbeh\u00e4ltern und einer kurzen Flaschenveredelung, ohne Zugabe von Zucker oder Reinzuchthefen. Das Ergebnis ist ein heller, aromatischer Rotwein, der den sortenreinen Charakter des Frappato und die kalkhaltigen Sandb\u00f6den der Vittoria-Ebene zum Ausdruck bringt.\n\nCOS ist ein sizilianisches Weingut, das 1980 von Giambattista Cilia, Giusto Occhipinti und Cirino Strano in Vittoria im S\u00fcdosten Siziliens gegr\u00fcndet wurde. Das Gut ist bekannt f\u00fcr biodynamische Bewirtschaftung und naturnahe Weinbereitung, einschlie\u00dflich G\u00e4rung und Reifung in Amphoren. COS ist besonders f\u00fcr seinen Cerasuolo di Vittoria bekannt, den einzigen DOCG-Wein Siziliens, der aus Nero d'Avola und Frappato gekeltert wird.","wine_price":"23","yoast_head":"<!-- This site is
