F\u00fcr den Passito-Stil werden die Malvasia-delle-Lipari-Trauben auf Matten oder Gestellen unter der Inselsonne getrocknet, bevor sie gepresst und vergoren werden, wodurch sich Zucker und Aromastoffe konzentrieren. Die Cuv\u00e9e folgt der traditionellen DOC-Formel: \u00fcberwiegend Malvasia delle Lipari mit einem kleinen Anteil Corinto Nero. Der fertige Wein ist bernsteinfarben, von Natur aus zuckerreich und besitzt gen\u00fcgend S\u00e4ure, damit die S\u00fc\u00dfe nicht ins Schwere f\u00e4llt. Er wird in kleinen 375-ml-Flaschen abgef\u00fcllt, wie es f\u00fcr Weine dieser Art und S\u00fc\u00dfestufe \u00fcblich ist.\n\nHauner ist ein Familienweingut auf der Insel Salina im \u00c4olischen Archipel vor der Nordk\u00fcste Siziliens. Gegr\u00fcndet wurde es von Carlo Hauner, einem Mail\u00e4nder K\u00fcnstler und Designer, der sich in den 1970er Jahren auf Salina niederlie\u00df; heute f\u00fchrt sein Sohn Carlo Hauner jr. den Betrieb. Das Weingut ist vor allem f\u00fcr den Malvasia delle Lipari bekannt, einen traditionellen S\u00fc\u00dfwein aus sonnengetrockneten Malvasia-Trauben, die auf den Vulkanh\u00e4ngen der Insel
