Der Wein besteht zu 100 % aus Sangiovese, eine Praxis, die ab dem Jahrgang 2016 eingef\u00fchrt wurde; fr\u00fchere Abf\u00fcllungen enthielten einen Anteil Merlot. Die Reben sind in hoher Dichte gepflanzt, zwischen 7.000 und 10.000 St\u00f6cken pro Hektar, erzogen in Alberello und Guyot auf schiefrigen Kalksteinb\u00f6den mit einer 30 bis 40 Zentimeter starken tonreichen Oberbodenschicht. Die Vinifikation erfolgt in gro\u00dfen Holzg\u00e4rbeh\u00e4ltern, gefolgt von der Reifung in Eichenf\u00e4ssern. Petruccino gilt als der zug\u00e4nglichere Wein des Guts neben dem Spitzenwein Petrucci, zeigt aber durch die zwei Jahre zwischen Lese und Freigabe echte strukturelle Tiefe. Der Wein f\u00e4llt unter die Orcia DOC, eine der weniger bekannten, aber geografisch pr\u00e4zisen Bezeichnungen der Toskana innerhalb der UNESCO-gesch\u00fctzten Val-d'Orcia-Landschaft.\n\nPodere Forte ist ein toskanisches Gut in Castiglione d'Orcia im Val d'Orcia im s\u00fcdlichen Toskana. Das Gut wurde von Pasquale Forte in den 1990er-Jahren gegr\u00fcndet und wird nach biodynamischen Anbaugrunds\u00e4tzen gef\u00fchrt. Es ist bekannt f\u00fcr die Produktion kleiner Mengen Wein aus Sangiovese und anderen Sorten, wobei die Weine Guardiavigna und Petrucci zu seinen bekanntesten Abf\u00fcllungen
