Die Trauben stammen aus biodynamisch bewirtschafteten Parzellen zwischen 200 und 350 Metern im Val di Mezzane, werden spontan mit nat\u00fcrlichen Hefen vergoren und mit der haus\u00fcblichen Geduld in Eiche ausgebaut. Es ist ein Valpolicella mit ungew\u00f6hnlicher Tiefe: dunkle Sauerkirsche, Pflaumenhaut, Veilchen und wei\u00dfer Pfeffer \u00fcber einem salzigen, steinigen Unterton, mit festen, aber seidigen Tanninen und anregender S\u00e4ure. Der 2018er ist zu sich selbst gefunden und steht jetzt an einem guten Punkt, mit noch einigen Jahren vor sich. Bei 16 bis 18 \u00b0C servieren, kurz dekantiert, zu Bigoli mit Entenrag\u00f9, gebratenem Gefl\u00fcgel, Pasta e fagioli oder venezianischer Sarde in saor, gefolgt von gegrilltem Fisch in leichteren Momenten. Er belohnt Aufmerksamkeit, wie es nur wenige Valpolicella tun. Corte Sant'Alda liegt im Val di Mezzane, dem ruhigeren \u00f6stlichen Tal der Valpolicella, wo Marinella Camerani seit Mitte der 1980er Jahre Weinbau betreibt.
