Die Trauben stammen aus Weinbergen in den Provinzen Treviso und Venedig, einem Gebiet mit alluvialen und kiesigen B\u00f6den entlang des Unterlaufs des Piave. Nach der G\u00e4rung reift der Wein etwa sechs Monate in tulpenf\u00f6rmigen Tonneaux, die seiner Struktur zugutekommen, ohne den Fruchtcharakter zu \u00fcberlagern. Der Jahrgang 2021 zeigt eine tiefe purpurrote Farbe mit leuchtenden R\u00e4ndern und eine gute Konzentration bei 14 % vol. In der Nase und am Gaumen verbindet er dunkle Fr\u00fcchte, balsamische und erdige Noten mit feinen Tanninen und einem sauberen, frischen Abgang. Der Wein trinkt sich gut nach der Freigabe und kann drei bis vier Jahre ab dem Jahrgang gelagert werden.\n\nCescon ist ein Weinproduzent mit Sitz in Tezze di Piave in der Region Veneto. Das Weingut wird seit Generationen von der Familie gef\u00fchrt und ist f\u00fcr seine Weine aus der Piave DOC bekannt, darunter Raboso, Merlot und Pinot Grigio.
